Product Description Celebrities are lending their name to conservation causes, and conservation itself is growing its own stars to fight and speak for nature. This book provides a critical analysis of this phenomena and argues that, ironically, there may be a hidden cost to celebrity power to individual's relationships with the wild.

This book, with a little effort required on behalf of the reader, will weaken the foundations of your faith in the world of Reality TV,Politicians, the Royalty, the Media,Premiership Football and a whole shelf full of items you've been buying all your life.
Why do I say 'with a little effort'?,because Dan Brockington is an academic, moves in academic circles and needs to convince his peers of his perceptions.Saying that after you have read a couple of chapters you will catch up to his pace and dialogue and be pleasantly surprised and grateful that you stuck with it.
The references for further reading are sufficient to make this book really fullfilling, and if you want to know what Al Gore and his banking cronies plan for your 'Carbon Taxes',read on.
