Customer Reviews: A good place to start June 7, 2008 Mr. G (UK) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This book is very helpful for those who wish to learn how to draw the human figure.
The book starts out with advising what equipment will help you best, such as various pencils, paper, erasers etc.
It moves on step by step showing images of various parts of anatomy, with tips on how best to approach each part, and also gives advise on how to scale your work so everything appears in proportion.
then towards the back there are various step by step drawings of models, showing you how to flesh out your work, adding the shading and finer details of the model.
It may only be 32 pages, but every page is jam packed with nearly everything you need, with easy to follow steps and tips.
